Chilean
Miners Warm Hearts
In
the news this month and updated very recently is the story of the
Chilean Miners Rescue, which luckily has had a very happy ending. "The
rescue of 33 South American miners in the greatest escape of its kind in
history has unified Chile", the country's president Sebastian
Pinera said on Friday, October 15th.
Much
has been written and more will continue to be published in blogs and in
the newspapers, as the good news from Chile overshadows the current
problems that seem to be occurring at every level of the global economic
landscape - unemployment, under-employment, inflation, deflation,
housing, the foreclosure mess, the Federal Reserve System - it's all
still out there. Yet the Miners are alive, and the world is somehow
different.
This kind of focus where
the positive events far outweigh a larger negative scenario, however
temporary, is indicative of how we can all change our lives. In a
popular exercise by Abraham and the Law of Attraction Series studies, we
are encouraged to list the positive aspects of a person, place or
condition we wish to change, in order to set our intention to a higher
vibration and to change our inner world -and not necessarily change the
outer conditions.
It is an easy trap to
believe we can change our outer conditions abruptly and easily, and
while we can certainly do that, it is a more subtle effort to stop
and check in with our emotional landscapes and see what it is we really
want, why we want it, and what feeling comes from the idea of any
desired change.
We saw this firsthand
recently at one of our Couples Workshops in Beaverton, where the simple
act of listing the positive aspects of a spouse or partner can make a
world of difference in the level of appreciation and love that you feel.
As result, a more loving and balanced relationship prevails.
This example tells us that
we all can change our world and make it a better place by keeping our
focus in a place where we see - as much as possible - what is right with
the world. From there, we can act in co-creation and move our lives in
the direction of hope, love and peace.
Chile has become warmer, and our
outlook is clearer.

Feel the joy as you dance with non-physical energies. Life is more
than you think it is, and you can achieve more than you currently
believe!!!
These vistas are
discovered within us, and many tools can help us know it better and
better. It can also be said that at this place, we are positioned on
the "leading edge" of thought.
