Attunements
for Reiki
students and practitioners at every level...
The
following classes are offered in Portland
through the
Arise Reiki Class Series:
Reiki
1 (First Degree): The
Reiki hands-on healing method is taught including all hand positions and
the attunement for Reiki practitioner. After attending this class, you will be able to do Reiki on
yourself or others.
Reiki
2 (Second Degree):
Distance healing is taught and another attunement is offered. After
this class you would be able to send Reiki to others, send to situations, and
even send to the past or future events. For example, you would be able to
send Reiki to a future job interview or to yourself as a child during a
traumatic moment. The possibilities of consciously affecting and
empowering your life are endless.
Reiki
Master:
During this class you will be taught how to do the attunement
processes so that you would be able resonate with this higher level of energy,
and also to initiate others into this healing method (if so desired). There are also master symbols
to which you are attuned to during this
class.
Karuna
Reiki Master:
This 3 day class attunes the student to sound and vibrational
healing techniques. There is an "energy bath" feel to this
expanded system. Karuna Reiki attunement and class opens new dimensions
for the Healer Within!
Can
anyone learn to do Reiki?
Yes,
anyone can be shown how to access this energy. During Reiki training, students
are shown how this energy is
accessed and also how it is used for healing. During a Reiki class, an attunement process occurs
and the
channel for utilizing this energy is opened. Reiki is not a religion or
philosophy. There are specific techniques to learn, but more importantly,
there is something to be
experienced. Children, teen and adult classes are available. Children younger than
18 need one parent in the home to be a Reiki 1 practitioner.

Must
I intend to be a Reiki healer to take a Reiki class?
No.
Most people take a Reiki Healing class so that they and their loved ones can benefit
from this healing energy. Many people also go on to Reiki Master with no
intent of teaching Reiki to others. Each class brings more empowerment to you
and has integrity as healing energy. You can open yourself as a channel to
this energy without any other motivation.
How
often are Reiki classes offered?
Reiki
classes are offered on a frequent basis in our office in Beaverton. We are
located a short distance west of Downtown Portland off Highway 26 near Cornell
Road. Additional
Arise Reiki Masters are located throughout the Portland metro area. Call
for information.
We also offer a free Reiki Healing Circle each month.
What
does Reiki feel like?
Reiki is an individual experience and
cannot adequately be expressed. However,
it has been described by many as heat or warmth generating from the hands.
Sometimes it feels tingly. When
people send to me from a distance, I often feel a bubble of energy or love.
It is important to remember that you do
not take in the other person's symptoms in order to heal them. You are there as an open and conscious channel of universal life force
energy, like a straw which is open to draw down healing energy.
Besides from heat, the most reported
feelings from a Reiki session which I have found are deep feelings of love,
compassion, relaxation, and often relief of physical or emotional pain.
